Varanasi: A significant collaboration has been established in Varanasi between Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, and the Department of Journalism, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), with the aim of strengthening education and research. Under this partnership, both institutions will develop new opportunities in the combined fields of agriculture and journalism.
According to the agreement, students and researchers from the agricultural university will receive training, workshops, and expert guidance at BHU's Department of Journalism. Special emphasis will be placed on agricultural reporting, science communication, and effectively conveying issues related to rural life to the media.
The partnership will strengthen coordination between agricultural research and media studies, which will help in delivering accurate information to farmers, promoting modern techniques, and practically advancing agricultural education. Both institutions believe that this initiative will give a new dimension to agricultural journalism in the coming time and provide opportunities for youth to build careers in this field.
