Recruitment Process and Key Details

This time, a total of 25,487 posts will be filled, with the maximum opportunities in CISF (14,595 posts) and CRPF (5,490 posts). Candidates can apply from December 1, 2025, with the last date set for December 31, 2025. The recruitment drive is for Central Armed Police Forces, the Secretariat Security Force, and Assam Rifles.
The commission stated that the Computer-Based Examination will be conducted between February and April 2026. Following this, selected candidates will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), medical examination, and document verification. Finally selected candidates will be appointed to BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, or SSF.
Who Can Apply
The educational qualification for SSC GD Constable is kept simple. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board. The age limit is 18 to 23 years, with age relaxations provided for SC, ST, OBC, and ex-servicemen in the upper age limit. A total of 23,467 posts are reserved for men and 2,020 posts for women.
Salary and Allowances
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. In addition, facilities such as Dearness Allowance, Risk Allowance, Ration Money, Uniform Allowance, Medical Facilities, and Travel Allowance will also be provided.

The application fee is Rs 100 for general candidates, while SC/ST, female candidates, and ex-servicemen are exempted.
