Uttar Pradesh Weather Update: No Rain for Seven Days, Night Temperatures Set to Fall

Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience dry weather for the next seven days, with no rainfall forecast. Night temperatures could fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, while Muzaffarnagar records the state's lowest minimum temperature at 15.3°C.

Weather conditions have turned clear across Uttar Pradesh following a reduction in the impact of the cyclone. The rainfall spell has ended, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast predominantly dry weather across the state for the next seven days. However, temperatures are expected to decline during the night and early morning hours, bringing cooler conditions to several districts.

With November underway, temperatures have started changing across the state. While sunshine continues during the afternoon, mornings and nights are becoming increasingly cool. On Wednesday, November 4, skies are expected to remain clear in Lucknow and most other districts of Uttar Pradesh. The weather department has not forecast rainfall over the coming days.

Following the weakening of the cyclonic weather system, rainfall activity has subsided across Uttar Pradesh. Skies have remained clear in most parts of the state since Monday, although light mist and fog have been reported in some districts during the morning hours.

According to the weather department, both western and eastern Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience predominantly dry weather for the seven days starting November 4. No warning has been issued for heavy rainfall or thunderstorms during this period.

Night temperatures could fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next two days. However, no significant change in daytime temperatures is currently expected. As a result, mornings and nights are likely to become cooler, while afternoon sunshine will keep daytime conditions relatively comfortable.

Muzaffarnagar has recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh so far, at 15.3 degrees Celsius. Hardoi followed with a minimum temperature of 15.5 degrees Celsius.

Other districts also recorded relatively low nighttime temperatures. Orai registered 16 degrees Celsius, Meerut recorded 16.3 degrees Celsius, and Bareilly reported 16.5 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperatures have fallen below 20 degrees Celsius in approximately 25 districts across the state. The readings indicate that cooler morning and nighttime conditions are gradually developing in western Uttar Pradesh and parts of central Uttar Pradesh. However, daytime temperatures remain comparatively high.

In the state capital, Lucknow, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, while the minimum temperature stood at 19.9 degrees Celsius. Bright sunshine during the day kept conditions warm, although temperatures declined after sunset.

Dry weather is also expected to continue in Lucknow on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is likely to remain around 30 to 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature could be approximately 18 degrees Celsius. Light mist is expected during the morning, followed by sunshine during the day.

Similar weather conditions are forecast for Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and neighbouring districts. However, morning mist could reduce visibility in some areas.

Senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said temperatures are likely to gradually decline as November progresses. After Diwali, maximum temperatures in several districts of Uttar Pradesh could reach around 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.

Currently, no major rainfall-producing weather system is expected to become active across the state, from western Uttar Pradesh to the Purvanchal region. The decline in morning and nighttime temperatures has already begun to bring noticeable changes in weather conditions.

Jhansi recently recorded a maximum temperature of 31.9 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Bahraich and Agra also remained around 31 degrees Celsius, indicating that daytime warmth has not yet completely subsided across the state.

With changing weather conditions, people travelling early in the morning may encounter light mist in some areas. Reduced visibility could affect road conditions, and motorists are advised to drive cautiously and maintain lower speeds where visibility is limited.

Considering the difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, carrying light warm clothing while heading outdoors in the morning may also be useful.
