The political temperature in Bihar has risen with the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Numerous discussions are taking place in political circles ahead of the biennial elections for five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar.
Bihar Politics: Biennial elections are to be held for five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar, and in light of this, the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan are engaged in strategizing. The NDA appears b on four seats, but JDU chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has also staked a claim for the fifth seat. He stated that the NDA will be successful in winning all five seats and that several RJD legislators are in contact with the JDU.
Speaking to the media, Neeraj Kumar said that the people have given a b mandate to the NDA. According to him, this wave will also prove challenging for Tejashwi Yadav.
NDA in a Strong Position, Eyes on Fifth Seat
The victory of the NDA on four seats is almost certain, but all eyes are also on the fifth seat. Neeraj Kumar told the media that the NDA is in a position to win all five seats. He also claimed that several RJD legislators are in touch with the JDU, which could weaken the Mahagathbandhan's position.
Neeraj Kumar said, “The people have given a b mandate to the NDA. This wave is proving challenging for the Mahagathbandhan, especially Tejashwi Yadav. Internal differences within the RJD are creating unrest among their legislators.

Restlessness Among RJD Legislators
The JDU leader revealed that RJD legislators are uncertain due to internal strife within the RJD. According to Neeraj Kumar, “Working in the RJD has become like a political assassination. Allied parties are skeptical about supporting the candidate imposed by the RJD. Meanwhile, it has also been said that the entry of RJD legislators into the JDU is currently on a “waiting list” and the further process will be decided after the RAC (Recommendation and Approval Committee). Neeraj Kumar clarified that nothing can be said definitively on this matter at this time.
Politics is also heating up within the NDA regarding the Rajya Sabha elections. Union Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi has warned that he may leave the alliance if he does not get a Rajya Sabha seat. This indicates that it could be challenging for the NDA to keep its allies satisfied. The Mahagathbandhan does not have enough proposals to secure the necessary number of Rajya Sabha seats. Neeraj Kumar informed that there is discontent among the leaders of the Mahagathbandhan's allies, which could affect their strategy. Thus, the position of the RJD and its alliance appears quite weak in this election.
According to analysts, if RJD legislators join the JDU, the NDA's position will be further strengthened in the Rajya Sabha elections. This will not only make it difficult for the Mahagathbandhan to win seats, but also expose their internal differences further.
