The advance booking for Sunny Deol’s upcoming film Border 2 has registered b pre-release figures following the opening of ticket sales. The film is scheduled for release on the occasion of Republic Day.
According to reports, Border 2 has collected approximately Rs 9.94 crore through advance bookings so far, including block seat sales. The early booking figures place the film among the highest advance booking performers of 2026 at this stage.
Ticket sales have also shown significant volume, with more than 1.75 lakh tickets sold across cinemas to date. The film has secured a wide theatrical release, with a large number of shows allocated, as it is not facing direct competition from another major release at the time of its opening.

Border 2 is a sequel to J.P. Dutta’s 1997 film Border. The makers have previously clarified that the new film features an entirely new story and does not have a direct narrative connection to the earlier film. The project continues to focus on themes of war, patriotism, and emotion, presented in a contemporary setting.
The film stars Sunny Deol alongside Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan in key roles. Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh. The film has also recorded advance booking activity in overseas markets, reflecting interest among Indian audiences outside India.
