On the second anniversary of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, the Rajasthan government is extending financial assistance amounting to Rs 1,590 crore to farmers, women, and construction workers through various welfare schemes. The assistance will be transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
Special programmes are being organised across Rajasthan on January 22 to mark two years since the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. On this occasion, the state government has announced multiple public welfare measures aimed at providing economic support to eligible sections of society.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will participate in a state-level programme in Sirohi, where assistance under several schemes will be disbursed to beneficiaries through DBT. The government has stated that the initiative is intended to strengthen the financial position of vulnerable groups.
Under the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the fifth instalment of financial assistance will be released to farmers. The amount will be credited directly to farmers’ bank accounts to support agriculture-related expenses.

The programme will also mark the launch of Gram Utthan Shivirs under the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet, which will continue until February 9. Through these camps, farmers will be provided information on modern agricultural techniques, seeds, fertilisers, and government schemes.
Under the Chief Minister LPG Gas Subsidy Scheme, the subsidy amount for gas cylinders will be transferred to women beneficiaries’ accounts, providing relief in household expenses. Additionally, incentive assistance will be provided to milk producers under the Chief Minister Dugdh Utpadak Sambal Yojana, with the aim of supporting livestock keepers and strengthening the rural economy.
Construction workers will receive financial assistance in the form of grants to support their daily needs and family requirements. Farmers will also be provided agricultural input subsidies as part of the assistance measures.
During the programme, beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be issued cheques for housing construction. The state government has stated that this will assist economically weaker families in building permanent homes.
According to the government, the central objective of these initiatives is to ensure that welfare benefits reach eligible beneficiaries directly, without intermediaries. The strengthening of the DBT system is intended to enhance transparency, ensure timely assistance, and reduce irregularities, thereby supporting social and economic empowerment.
