Box Office Update: 'Tere Ishq Mein' Reigns Supreme, 'Gustakh Ishq' Crashes Amidst Mixed Fortunes

'Tere Ishq Mein' continues its stellar box office run while 'Gustakh Ishq' flops. Get the latest collections for 'Zootopia 2', 'De De Pyaar De 2', and '120 Bahadur' after Wednesday's earnings.

This week's box office report card has been quite interesting. With no major film releases from either the Bollywood or South Indian industries, the pace of earnings remained slow and steady.

Entertainment News: Wednesday at the box office was completely dominated by ‘Tere Ishq Mein’. Despite being mid-week, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's romantic film continued to successfully draw audiences to cinemas. On the other hand, Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh's film ‘Gustakh Ishq’ is proving to be a major flop.

Hollywood's ‘Zootopia 2’ continues to maintain stable earnings, while Ajay Devgn's ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is now seeing slow collections in its third week. Farhan Akhtar's war drama ‘120 Bahadur’ also appears to be struggling with a lack of audience.

‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Continues its Stellar Performance

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ has maintained a b hold at the box office since its release. Opening with ₹16 crore on its first day, the film has not entirely lost its momentum even on weekdays. On its fifth day, the film earned ₹10.25 crore. According to early box office trends, on its sixth day, which was Wednesday, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ collected approximately ₹6.75 crore.

With this, the film's total domestic collection has reached ₹76.75 crore in 6 days. The positive feedback received on social media and the film's popularity among youth are considered major reasons for its b performance.

‘Zootopia 2’ Maintains Stable Earnings

Disney's much-anticipated animated film ‘Zootopia 2’ has had a slow but steady start in India. On its first day, the film grossed approximately ₹1.4 crore. The film is receiving a good response among family audiences and children. On its fifth day, ‘Zootopia 2’ earned around ₹90 lakh, while on Wednesday, its sixth day, the collection was approximately ₹73 lakh.

With this, the film's total earnings over 6 days have reached ₹9.38 crore. It is anticipated that this figure might pick up pace again over the weekend.

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ Slows Down in its Third Week

Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R. Madhavan starrer ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ has been in cinemas for several weeks, but its earnings have now become very limited. The film had a b opening of ₹8.75 crore on its first day. Now, having entered its third week, its pace has slowed down considerably. According to reports, on its 20th day, which was the third Wednesday, the film earned approximately ₹27 lakh. With this, the film's total collection over 20 days stands at ₹72.27 crore.

‘Gustakh Ishq’ Faces Poor Box Office Performance

Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh's ‘Gustakh Ishq’ has had an extremely disappointing performance at the box office. There were high expectations from this film, produced by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, but it failed to particularly impress audiences. The film earned only ₹0.5 crore on its first day, and collections have continuously declined since then.

On its fifth day, this figure dropped to a mere ₹12 lakh. On its sixth day, which was Wednesday, the film barely managed to gross ₹6 lakh. With this, its total collection in 6 days stands at just ₹1.55 crore, placing it in the category of a major flop.

‘120 Bahadur’ Also Struggles

Farhan Akhtar's war drama film ‘120 Bahadur’ also appears to be losing audience trust at the box office. Its earnings have become extremely weak in its second week. On its 13th day of release, which was the second Wednesday, the film could only manage to earn ₹16 lakh. With this, the total collection of ‘120 Bahadur’ over 13 days has reached ₹17.61 crore, which is considered significantly low compared to its budget.
