Bihar Assembly Elections: NDA Engaged in Preparing for Mission-225
Amidst Chirag Paswan's statement, the NDA has rapidly started working on the Mission-225 plan, keeping the Bihar Assembly elections of 2025 in mind. Its goal is to win at least 225 seats out of the state's 243.
- BJP's Strategy and Booth Level Preparation: The BJP has planned to create a b electoral formation at the booth level by organizing conferences in 1420 organizational divisions. The strategy prepared by the party is focusing on the following points:
- Training at the Power Center Level: In the first phase, workers at the Panchayat level (power center) are being trained so that they can take the strategy to the booth level workers and Panna Pramukhs.
- Booth Data Collection and प्रवासी Voter Contact: The party is working on all 90,000 booths, with emphasis on collecting mobile numbers and migration cities data of Biharis living outside.
Booth Grading and Targeting
The BJP has planned to divide the booths into three categories – A, B, C:
- A Grade: The target is to ensure 10% additional voting here.
- B Grade: A roadmap for a 10% increase even in booths where less than 50% voting took place.
- C Grade: The target is to increase votes by up to 5% in booths where the NDA got less than 20% of the votes.
Stronger Relations Again Between Chirag and BJP
In the past years, there was some bitterness in the relationship between Chirag Paswan and the BJP, especially during the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, when the LJP fielded candidates against the JDU. However, it is now clear that both sides have put the old things behind them and decided to fight the 2025 elections together.
Political analysts believe that Chirag Paswan's young image, hold among Dalits, and his b relationship with Prime Minister Modi can give a new direction to the NDA's strategy in Bihar. His presence will not only strengthen the base of the LJP, but the BJP may also get a supplementary support base.
