CNG prices vary across states due to differences in VAT and local tax structures. This results in price differences even between nearby cities such as Delhi and Ghaziabad. In addition to taxes, transportation costs and distribution networks also influence pricing.
At times, supply and demand dynamics in individual cities may lead to minor price variations. Consequently, CNG prices differ across states at the same time, directly affecting consumer expenditure.
Stable CNG prices assist vehicle operators and daily commuters in managing budgets more efficiently. Individuals associated with auto, taxi, and cab services are able to estimate earnings and fares more accurately due to consistency in fuel costs.
CNG is considered more economical and environmentally compatible compared to petrol and diesel. It contributes to lower fuel expenses and has a reduced impact on vehicle engines, resulting in lower maintenance costs.
