Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted issues related to education and employment for young people. He called for a clear policy covering education to employment for young people and said there was a need for an education-to-employment roadmap.

The CWC meeting also discussed issues related to the India-China border. Congress sought accountability from the central government over alleged Chinese incursions along the Indian border and matters concerning border security.

The party said the government should provide Parliament and the public with clear information about the actual situation along the border.

Congress is also pursuing alliance politics with opposition parties in several states. The meeting discussed strengthening the party organisation and playing a more effective role in opposition politics.
