For CSIR-NCL MTS Recruitment 2026, candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognized institution. The age of candidates will be calculated as of November 4, 2026. The maximum age limit for the recruitment is 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
Salary of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900
Candidates selected for MTS posts at CSIR-NCL will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. Selected candidates will receive salary and other applicable benefits as per the prescribed rules.
Selection Through Written Examination
Candidates for the MTS posts will be selected on the basis of a written examination. The examination will include questions related to General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English.
The written examination will consist of a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the examination. Negative marking will apply for incorrect answers, with one mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Document Verification After Written Examination
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the next stage. Their documents will be verified as part of the process. The final selection will be made from candidates who fulfil all the conditions and eligibility requirements prescribed for the recruitment process.
