CUET UG 2025 Results Announced: Ananya Jain Scores 100 Percentile in Four Subjects

CUET UG 2025 results have been released. Ananya Jain, a student from Ludhiana, has scored a 100 percentile in four subjects. Approximately 13.5 lakh students appeared for the exam this year.

CUET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate, i.e., CUET UG 2025. This year, Ananya Jain, a student from Ludhiana, achieved a remarkable feat by scoring a 100 percentile in four subjects. Along with her, 17 other students across the country have achieved a 100 percentile in three subjects, while 150 students have attained this top score in two subjects. The examination this year was conducted entirely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Ananya Jain's Special Achievement

Ananya Jain, a student of DAV Public School, Ludhiana, has scored a 100 percentile in four major subjects: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics. Additionally, she has secured a 99.99 percentile in English. Ananya mentioned that she studies by understanding the concepts instead of rote learning, and she credits her success to her teachers and family. Her goal is to build a career in Economics and Statistics from Delhi University.

High Performance in Three and Two Subjects

According to the NTA, a total of 17 students have achieved a 100 percentile in three subjects this time. Furthermore, 150 candidates have achieved this feat in two subjects. In addition, there are 2,679 candidates who have scored a 100 percentile in one subject. This figure indicates that the competition in the exam this year was very tough and the preparation level of the students was also quite b.

Over 13.5 Lakh Candidates Applied

A total of 13,54,699 students applied for CUET UG 2025 this year, which is a new record. This examination has become the sole gateway for admission at the undergraduate level in the country. The examination was conducted in 300 cities, including 15 foreign cities. These include major cities such as Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Munich, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait City, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, West Java, and Washington.

Exam Pattern and Language Options

This year, the examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam was completed in 35 shifts over a period of 19 days. Students were given the option to choose from 37 subjects, which included 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one General Test. The question papers were available in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

These Subjects Were Chosen by the Most Students

In CUET UG 2025, the most students, 8.14 lakh, chose the English subject. Following this, 6.59 lakh students appeared for the General Test, and 5.70 lakh students for Chemistry. These figures make it clear towards which subjects the students' priorities lie and in which subjects the competition was higher.
