Special preparations are being made for the organization of Ramlila and Durga Puja in Delhi this year. The Chief Minister of the capital, Rekha Gupta, has formed various committees headed by cabinet ministers to ensure these religious festivals are conducted in a safe and organized manner.
Delhi Ramlila-Durga Puja: Delhi's Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, has announced the formation of separate committees, chaired by her government's cabinet ministers, for the better preparation of the Ramlila and Durga Puja festivals to be held in the capital. The Chief Minister's Office stated that the objective of these committees is to provide timely solutions to problems and challenges that may arise during religious events.
Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh has been appointed as the chairman of the Ramlila committee. BJP MLAs Ashok Goyal, Anil Kumar Sharma, Shyam Sharma, Sanjay Goyal, and Sandeep Sehrawat will be members of this committee. Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Neeraj Semwal has been appointed as the Member Secretary of the committee.
Formation of Ramlila Committee

BJP MLAs Ashok Goyal, Anil Kumar Sharma, Shyam Sharma, Sanjay Goyal, and Sandeep Sehrawat will be members of this committee. Along with this, Divisional Commissioner Neeraj Semwal has been made the Member Secretary of the committee.
The main objective of this committee is to ensure coordination in security, crowd management, cleanliness, and essential facilities for the organization of Ramlila. The committee will inspect the event venues from time to time and take swift action in case of any emergency.
Leadership of Durga Puja Committee
Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has been entrusted with leading the committee for the successful and safe organization of Durga Puja. Under this committee, security, cleanliness, traffic management, and other necessary arrangements at the festival site will be monitored. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated, "This step has been taken to ensure timely resolution of potential issues and difficulties related to these religious events. We want these programs organized in the capital to be safe, organized, and enjoyable for the people."
The function of these committees is not just to oversee the organization but also to ensure coordination of security, cleanliness, traffic, and other facilities.
