YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was reportedly detained by Delhi Police from his residence in Sector 56, Gurugram, ahead of a proposed protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in Delhi. According to available reports, police personnel reached his residence in the morning and took him into custody.
According to the information available, Delhi Police personnel entered Rathee’s residence at around 7:48 AM. Reports also indicated that a large number of police personnel had been present outside his residence since late at night.
When the police team arrived, Rathee’s mother reportedly opened the door. The personnel subsequently entered the residence and detained him.
