Amid the escalating controversy, DK Shivakumar also clarified that he has no intention of leaving Congress. He said, "I am a Congressman by birth and will die in Congress. No one can question the Gandhi family. Some people are unnecessarily trying to play politics."

BJP leaders tried to corner the Karnataka government on this entire matter. They said that Congress leaders are now trying to strengthen their political ground by singing RSS songs.
