A man has been accused of killing his younger brother in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, following a dispute that escalated during a late-night incident at their shared residence.
According to available information, the two brothers lived together and had a history of minor disputes. On the night of the incident, they were बैठ together and consuming alcohol when an argument broke out between them. The altercation intensified from a verbal exchange into physical confrontation before eventually subsiding, after which both individuals went to their respective rooms.
Despite the apparent resolution, the elder brother remained agitated. Late at night, when the younger brother had fallen asleep in his room, the आरोपी allegedly entered the room, picked up an iron rod, and struck him on the head without warning.
The initial blow rendered the victim unable to respond, and multiple subsequent strikes caused severe injuries, resulting in his death at the scene. Blood was found spread across the room.
Family members became aware of the incident in the morning, leading to distress within the household. Local residents gathered at the scene, and police were informed.
Police arrived at the location, conducted an inspection, and took the शव into custody before sending it for postmortem examination. Evidence was collected from the scene, and the आरोपी elder brother was detained for questioning.
