Mahoba. Late Wednesday night, around 1 AM, two trucks collided head-on with a massive impact near Kabrai on the Kanpur-Sagar National Highway. The collision was so severe that both vehicles caught fire. In this accident, one truck driver died, while the driver of the other truck fled the scene. It is reported that both vehicles were traveling at an approximate speed of 120-130 km/h. One truck was loaded with gravel, while the other truck was empty.
Upon receiving the information, teams from Kabrai Police Station and the Fire Department arrived at the scene and, after strenuous efforts, brought the fire under control. Following this, traffic was restored. The road remained closed for about an hour. Station House Officer Satyavendra Singh stated that one driver was trapped in the collision and succumbed to his injuries. The identification of the body and further proceedings are underway.
