Upon receiving information about the incident, Haryana's Minister for Energy, Transport, and Labour, Anil Vij, arrived at the scene. He reassured the family and directed the administration to take immediate action. The minister stated that the administration should ensure all possible assistance. The SDM and SHO of Thana Cantt also reached the spot, and fire brigade vehicles managed to control the blaze.
Short Circuit Suspected as Cause of Fire
Nominated Councillor B.S. Bindra stated that Ravi Buddhiraja's house sustained considerable damage due to the fire. According to initial reports, a short circuit may have caused the fire, although a full investigation is still underway.
Firefighter Rajesh Kumar reported that they reached the scene immediately upon receiving the information. He mentioned that some individuals had already begun extinguishing the fire, which helped prevent it from spreading and escalating into a major disaster. Local cooperation and the swift response of the fire brigade played a crucial role in bringing the situation under control.
