Ghazipur Authorities Seize Land of Mukhtar Ansari's Associate in Crackdown

In Ghazipur, the administration has begun tightening its grip on the network of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari. As part of this effort, police on Thursday seized the land of Ravindra Narayan Singh, a close associate of his absconding wife Afsha Ansari. Ravindra Singh is a resident of Domanpura Balapur village in the Ghazipur Kotwali area and is said to be Afsha Ansari's financial supporter. Before the action, a formal announcement (Munadi) was made, and then, on the orders of the District Magistrate, land worth approximately ₹60 lakh was seized.

According to officials, Ravindra Narayan Singh purchased this land with money earned from organized crime. He was a partner with Afsha Ansari in a firm called Vikas Construction. Later, through this firm, a company named Aagaz Engineering Projects Limited was created, with Afsha Ansari herself as the Director and Chairperson. The investigation revealed that an attempt was made to hide approximately ₹2 crore 50 lakh of illicit money through this company.

Case under Gangster Act

A case under the Gangster Act is registered against Afsha Ansari at the Ghazipur Kotwali. The police have announced a reward of ₹50,000 on her, and she has been absconding for a long time. Afsha is the wife of Mukhtar Ansari, the former head of the IS-191 gang and a powerful leader. Now, the police are targeting her entire financial structure and network.

Officials say that Ravindra Narayan Singh accumulated his properties with the aim of providing financial assistance to the gang and furthering anti-social activities. That is why this property has been seized. The police believe that this action is a significant step in breaking the economic structure of the Mukhtar Ansari gang.

Several Cases Already Registered Against Ravindra Narayan Singh

The investigation has also revealed that several criminal cases are already registered against Ravindra Narayan Singh. A total of five cases are pending against him at Nandganj, Kotwali, and Mohammadabad police stations in the Ghazipur district. These cases include charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy, and illegal property.

The administration says that this action has been taken to break the backbone of the mafia network, and strict action will continue to be taken against absconding accused and their associates. The police are now trying to arrest Afsha Ansari and reach the root of her entire network.
