Gold and silver prices rebounded in the domestic market following the previous session’s decline, supported by global demand and investor preference for safe-haven assets. Price movements in international markets, along with fluctuations in the rupee, contributed to the uptick in local rates.
At 10:12 am, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,41,032 per 10 grams, marking an increase of Rs 1,539 per 10 grams. During the session, gold touched a low of Rs 1,40,287 per 10 grams and a high of Rs 1,41,349 per 10 grams.
Market participants indicated that rising global demand and continued allocation towards gold as a safe asset amid market uncertainty have supported prices.
