According to the police, the accused suddenly attacked his sister-in-law due to a family dispute. The injured woman has been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where her condition remains critical. The accused has been taken into custody under the First Information Report (FIR) for the case, and further action is underway.
A senior police officer stated that preliminary investigation has revealed the dispute stemmed not merely from domestic issues but from complications related to property, family obligations, or relationships. The local Station House Officer (SHO) added that detailed interrogation and evidence collection would be carried out soon to clarify the background of the crime and the deadlock between the accused and the victim.
