Amidst severe cold and dense fog in Gorakhpur and surrounding areas of Uttar Pradesh, railway operations have been affected. According to recent reports, dozens of trains running on the Gorakhpur route have experienced delays, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
Particularly, major trains including the Gorakhdham Express on the Gorakhpur-New Delhi route have been running several hours behind schedule. Furthermore, on other routes, due to reduced visibility, trains are operating at a slow speed, hindering normal railway operations.
The railway administration has requested passengers to check the train status before travelling and, if possible — choose an alternative route or time. People have been advised not to rush until the weather improves, to ensure safe travel.
