Hanuman Beniwal to Participate in Jat Community's OBC Reservation Rally in Bharatpur

Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal shared a post stating that he has been invited to participate in the upcoming public meeting on June 29th at Dera Mod in Bharatpur, concerning the demand for OBC reservation benefits for the Jat community in the districts of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg in Rajasthan.

Hanuman Beniwal: The atmosphere regarding Jat reservation in Rajasthan appears to be heating up once more. The Jat community of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg districts, seeking inclusion in the central OBC list, is organizing a massive public meeting on June 29th at Dera Mod (Agra-Jaipur Highway) in Bharatpur. Nagaur MP and convener of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), Hanuman Beniwal, will also be participating in this gathering.

Hanuman Beniwal himself shared information on social media, stating that the convener of the Jat Reservation Struggle Committee, Neem Singh Faujdar, and other community representatives had invited him to the public meeting at his residence in Jaipur by offering yellow rice, which he gladly accepted. Beniwal said, "I have previously raised the demand for OBC reservation for the Jat community of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg, both on the streets and in Parliament, and I will continue to stand with the community in every struggle."

He appealed to the central government, writing, "I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Social Justice Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar to take a positive decision soon on this sensitive demand of the Jat community."

Why are Jats from these three districts excluded?

While the Jat community in most districts of Rajasthan is receiving the benefit of OBC reservation at the central level, the districts of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg have been excluded. Consequently, the Jats of these districts have been struggling for a long time. Jat leaders from these districts say that, like the rest of the Jat community, the people here are also socially and economically backward, but they are not getting the benefit of reservation in education and jobs due to the absence of their names in the central list.

Because of this, the resentment of the Jat community towards the central government has increased in recent years. During the Lok Sabha elections, the Jat community in Bharatpur and Dholpur had also launched the 'Gangajal Abhiyan' (holy water campaign), resolving not to vote for BJP candidates, which was reflected in the election results.

A major show of strength on June 29th

Now, once again, the Jat community is rallying for reservation. Thousands of people from across the state are expected to gather at the public meeting on June 29th at Dera Mod. The Jat Reservation Struggle Committee is going from village to village, distributing yellow rice and inviting people. The strategy for the upcoming movement will also be formulated at this gathering, and the roadmap for putting pressure on the government will be decided.

The participation of Hanuman Beniwal is expected to give more strength to this meeting. Beniwal is considered to have a significant influence in the Jat community, and he has also raised community issues in Parliament from time to time.

Emphasis on community unity

Program organizer Neem Singh Faujdar said, "We are only demanding our rights. If Jats from the rest of Rajasthan can be included in OBC, why not the people of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg? We have been ignored for years. This time, we will not remain silent." Faujdar added that after the meeting, a final ultimatum will be given to the central government regarding the demand. If the government does not take a decision in time, the movement will be intensified, and a march to Delhi will be undertaken if necessary.

Hanuman Beniwal, announcing his participation in the public meeting, said that he would stand with the community at every step to secure the future of the children. This is not just an issue for the people of Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Deeg, but a question for the entire Jat community of Rajasthan. I will stand shoulder to shoulder in this fight.
