According to this, heavy rain is expected in the districts of Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, and Maharajganj.
There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on August 14. An alert for heavy rain at isolated places in western Uttar Pradesh has been issued for August 15. There is no possibility of heavy rain in any part of the state on August 16 and 17. The Meteorological Department has warned people living in rural areas and near rivers to be especially careful.

Due to heavy rain, schools in Dehradun, Pauri, Uttarkashi, and Nainital have been declared closed.
Monsoon Speed in Madhya Pradesh
In the second week of August, the monsoon has once again gained momentum in Madhya Pradesh. Many districts are receiving good rainfall, while some districts have recorded light showers. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain warning in the districts of Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Satna, Katni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, and Maihar. Heavy Rain in Jammu and Kashmir
