'Honeymoon in Shillong': Film Announced on Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case

The sensational and high-profile true story of Raja Raghuwanshi's murder and his wife Sonam Raghuwanshi's alleged infidelity will now be seen by audiences on the big screen. The film based on this case, 'Honeymoon in Shillong,' has been officially announced.

Entertainment: A film is now being made on the much-discussed Raja Raghuwanshi murder case of the country. This case had drawn the attention of the entire nation, and now its truth will be shown on the big screen. The film is titled 'Honeymoon in Shillong,' which was officially announced by Raja Raghuwanshi's family and director S.P. Nimbawat through a press conference.

This film will be a high-voltage murder mystery that will attempt to reveal the intricacies hidden behind the relationships of husband and wife, deceit, and murder. The first poster of the film has been released, and its shooting is scheduled to begin soon in Indore and Shillong.

What did Director S.P. Nimbawat say?

The film's director, SP Nimbawat, said, "This is not just a film, but a story based on a sensitive true event. We will present it with utmost responsibility and honesty, so that both justice and truth can get a platform." He also mentioned that experienced and talented actors will be cast in the film, and it will sequentially depict the story from Raja Raghuwanshi's personal life to his mysterious death.

The first poster of 'Honeymoon in Shillong' was recently launched on social media and during a press conference, which also included the names of the film's director, producer, and casting director. On this occasion, Raja Raghuwanshi's brothers told the media that they want the truth to come before the country, and the film can be an effective medium for this.

The family members believe that this film will provide the public with in-depth information about the event and may also positively influence the judicial process.

Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case: Story So Far

Raja Raghuwanshi, along with his wife Sonam Raghuwanshi, went to Shillong for their honeymoon after marriage. From there, both suddenly went missing. After a few days, Raja's body was recovered from a deep ditch, while Sonam was taken into custody from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. Shillong police have so far arrested 8 accused in this case, out of which three have been granted bail. 

Sonam Raghuwanshi is suspected of involvement in her husband's murder, but the real reason behind the murder has not yet been clarified. The case is under consideration in the court, and its hearing is ongoing.

With the announcement of the film, a new debate has also started. When the matter is still pending in court, can making a film on it affect the process of justice?
