New Delhi: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET 2025) conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) is fast approaching. The examination will be held on July 30th and 31st, with thousands of candidates from across the state participating. The examination will be conducted at three levels — PGT (Level-III), TGT (Level-II), and PRT (Level-I).
The Board has issued essential guidelines for the examination, which all candidates must follow. These instructions include complete information ranging from the admit card to the dress code and reporting time.
Bringing a Colored Admit Card is Mandatory
All candidates appearing for HTET 2025 must bring a colored printout of their admit card. A black and white admit card will not be valid at the examination center. Additionally, the photograph affixed to it must be the same as the one uploaded while filling out the online form.
Candidates must also bring a valid photo identification card, such as:
- Aadhar Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
No candidate will be allowed entry into the examination center without these documents.
When to Arrive at the Examination Center?
Candidates appearing for the examination must reach the center at least 2 hours and 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination. This extra time is allocated for formalities such as metal detector checks, biometric verification, and thumb impression scanning.
If a candidate arrives at the center after the stipulated time, they will not be allowed entry — regardless of the reason.
What is the Dress Code?
BSEH has prescribed a dress code to prevent cheating and irregularities in the examination. Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items into the examination hall:

- Any kind of metallic objects
- Mobiles, smartwatches, cameras, calculators, Bluetooth devices
- Earphones, purses, plastic pouches, papers, or written notes
However, female candidates are permitted to wear bindis, sindoor, and mangalsutras. Sikh candidates are also allowed to carry their religious symbols.
When and on Which Day Will Which Exam Be Held?
HTET 2025 will be conducted at three levels, with the following scheduling:
July 30, 2025 (Tuesday)
- Level-III (PGT): 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
July 31, 2025 (Wednesday)

What are the Arrangements for Candidates with Disabilities?
Candidates who are visually impaired or unable to write with their hands will be given an additional 50 minutes (Compensatory Time) during the examination.
If a candidate with a disability wishes to take the help of a scribe, they will have two options:
- Select a scribe themselves, whose qualification should not be higher than 12th grade
- Request a scribe from the Board office, for which an application must be made at least 7 days before the examination
Such candidates can meet their examination center superintendent at least 2 days before the examination to obtain permission. It is mandatory to bring necessary documents such as a medical certificate and papers related to the scribe's qualifications.
Information and necessary proformas related to the Scribe can be downloaded from the BSEH website — www.bseh.org.in
Can the Examination Center or Subject Be Changed?
The Board has clearly stated that no candidate will be allowed to change the examination center or subject. The center and subject mentioned in the admit card will be final and binding for all.
