A husband brutally murdered his wife by slitting her throat with a sword and then attempted to flee the scene. However, due to the police's prompt action, he couldn't get far and was arrested from a bus heading to Jodhpur near Shiv.
Attack While Sleeping at Midnight
According to information, 37-year-old Moim Khan, a building artisan by profession, was with his wife Rahmu (34 years old) in their room on Thursday night. Around 3 a.m., while the entire family was in deep sleep, Moim attacked his wife with a sword on her neck. The attack was so brutal that Rahmu died on the spot.
Three Children Sleeping in the Courtyard
At the time of the incident, Moim's parents were sleeping on cots outside the house, and the three children were in the courtyard. No one even sensed the horrific incident that occurred in the room. Around 7 a.m., when the family members woke up and went towards the room, they saw Rahmu's body lying soaked in blood. Seeing this scene, they screamed.
Panic Spread in the Village
Hearing the loud screams of the family members, the people living nearby got scared and immediately rushed towards the house. As soon as they saw Rahmu lying bloodied in the room, everyone was shocked. No one could believe that such a big tragedy had happened in the village. The news spread throughout the village in a short time, and mourning prevailed everywhere. People were terrified and couldn't understand how a husband could be so brutal to his wife.

The police immediately laid a trap and apprehended Moim by stopping a bus near Shiv.
