The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the admission process for the July 2026 session for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes. Interested students can apply for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the official website until July 15, 2026.
IGNOU has invited applications for admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate courses under both ODL and online modes. The application process has been made fully online, and candidates can submit forms through the university’s official website.
The university is offering admissions through two modes of study. Under the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programme, students study through study material and assignments. Under the online programme, classes and study support are provided through digital platforms.
Students can choose either mode based on convenience, time availability and course availability. Admissions are being offered across undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes.
Candidates applying for IGNOU July Admission 2026 are required to visit the official website and select either the ODL or Online Programme option under the admission section.
New applicants are required to complete registration before logging in to fill in personal information, educational qualifications and course details. After completing the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed fee.
Candidates have been advised to keep a printout of the submitted form for future reference. The last date to apply is July 15, 2026.
IGNOU has also provided a facility for students to withdraw admission applications under prescribed rules.
According to the university, a portion of the fee will be deducted depending on the timing of the withdrawal, while the remaining amount will be refunded. Detailed information and rules related to admissions are available on the official website.
