After months of performances and memorable dance moments, Sony Entertainment Television’s dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’ has announced its winner.
The grand finale of ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’ concluded with Raipur dancer Ritesh Pal winning the Season 5 trophy on the strength of his performances. Ritesh delivered a performance in the finale with choreographer and his mentor Pratik Utekar and emerged as the winner. Along with the victory, Ritesh received prize money of Rs 15 lakh.
Ritesh Pal’s journey on the dance show stood out from the beginning. He showcased his talent across different dance styles and consistently drew the attention of viewers and judges. His performances combined technique with energy and emotional connection. Throughout the season, he faced several challenging situations and demonstrated his abilities each time.
One of Ritesh’s notable achievements was winning the Battle Trophy three times. He consistently experimented with his dancing and did not restrict himself to a single style. Under the show’s theme, ‘India Wala Dance’, contestants were given an opportunity to present Indian dancing talent and different dance styles on the stage. Ritesh accepted the challenge and progressed to the finale through his performances.
In the grand finale, Ritesh and Pratik Utekar competed against the other finalists, Dipali Borkar, Prathamesh Mane, Anshika Dhara and Geetanjali Marwah. All the finalists entertained the audience with their respective performances, but Ritesh and Pratik’s duo ultimately won the title.
Several well-known faces were also present to make the season’s final episode special. The show’s judges, Karisma Kapoor, Javed Jaffrey, Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis, guided the contestants throughout the season. Actor Jackie Shroff, along with actress Tamannaah Bhatia and actor Sidharth Malhotra, also attended the grand finale as special guests.
At the finale, the contestants presented performances based on different dance forms and themes. Stage performances, the judges’ reactions and the contestants’ emotional moments marked the conclusion of the season.
After becoming the winner, Ritesh Pal expressed his happiness and said that dance has always been his passion and that winning the show’s trophy felt like a dream come true. He thanked the judges for the guidance he received during his journey. Ritesh specifically thanked Geeta Kapoor and his choreographer Pratik Utekar.
According to Ritesh, the show gave him an opportunity to step out of his comfort zone, learn new dance forms and develop as a better performer. He also said that the lessons he learned from his fellow contestants were an important part of his journey.
