'Thama' & 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' collections dip at the Indian box office. Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara Chapter 1' holds strong. Get latest film earnings.

Recently released films 'Thama', 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat', and the ongoing blockbuster 'Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1' have witnessed a decline in their box office collections in cinemas. However, Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara Chapter 1' is still outperforming other films.

Entertainment News: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's film 'Thama' had crossed the 100 crore rupee mark on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, its box office earnings saw a decline. After an initial surge of enthusiasm, the film's pace has now slowed down a bit. Similarly, Sonam Bajwa's romantic drama film 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' has also fallen victim to a slowdown, with its collections being less than expected.

Furthermore, 'Kantara Chapter 1' continued its stable performance, registering a slight increase. Overall, Wednesday saw a general decline in the earnings of films running in cinemas, making it clear that audiences are now awaiting major new releases.

'Thama' Sees Decline in Earnings, Stops at a Total of 104.60 Crores

Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer 'Thama' had delivered a b performance last Tuesday, crossing the 100 crore rupee mark. However, a significant drop in its earnings was observed on Wednesday. According to Sacnilk's report, the film grossed 3.25 crore rupees on its second Wednesday. On this day, the film's total Hindi occupancy was 10.10%, with the highest number of viewers attending the night shows (13.96%).

As of now, 'Thama's' total India collection over 9 days stands at 104.60 crore rupees. However, it is expected that the film will pick up pace again over the weekend. Audiences still appreciate Ayushmann Khurrana's performance and his pairing with Rashmika Mandanna, but the film's box office grip has weakened slightly due to the arrival of competing films.

'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' Also Falls Victim to Slowdown, 52.25 Crore Rupees in 9 Days

Director Milap Zaveri's romantic drama film 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' performed exceptionally well in its initial days of release, but its pace has also slowed down now. According to Sacnilk's early trend report, the film earned 2.75 crore rupees on its second Wednesday. Thus, the film's total collection over 9 days has reached 52.25 crore rupees.

The trio of Harshvardhan Rane, Sonam Bajwa, and Shaad Randhawa in the film has been appreciated by audiences, but its box office journey has been challenging due to the clash with 'Thama' and the b performance of 'Kantara Chapter 1'. Experts believe that the film could reach close to 60 crores by the weekend.

Even After 28 Days, 'Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1' Continues Its Stormy Earnings

Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara A Legend – Chapter 1' has maintained a b hold at the box office for a long time. Even after approximately four weeks, the film's popularity has not diminished, and it appears to be giving tough competition to new releases. On Wednesday, October 29, this Kannada blockbuster earned 2.50 crore rupees. This brings the film's total domestic collection to 599.15 crore rupees.

'Kantara Chapter 1' is achieving tremendous success not only in India but also at the global box office, owing to its folklore, mysterious story, and Rishab Shetty's powerful direction.
