itel has launched its new Aqua feature phone in India at a price of Rs 1,799, targeting entry-level users. The device includes IP67 water and dust resistance, AI-based noise cancellation, Type-C charging and multilingual voice assistance features.
itel has introduced the Aqua feature phone in the Indian market for customers seeking an affordable and durable mobile device. Priced at Rs 1,799, the phone includes features such as IP67 water and dust resistance, which are uncommon in this price segment.
The itel Aqua comes with an IP67 rating designed to provide protection against water and dust. According to the company, the certification means the device can remain protected during limited exposure to water and maintain performance in dusty conditions.
The company said the feature phone is designed for users who work outdoors or in environments where devices may face higher risks of damage from dust and water exposure.
The phone includes AI Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology aimed at reducing surrounding noise during calls. The feature is intended to help users hear clearer audio during conversations.

According to the company, AI ENC technology may support users working in noisy environments such as markets, traffic zones, factories and construction sites by helping maintain voice clarity during calls.
itel Aqua includes a voice assistance feature called “King Voice”, which provides voice-based information related to phone options, calls and messages. The device supports voice information in Hindi and English.
The feature phone also supports 10 regional languages. The company said the device is intended for users who prefer a simpler interface than smartphones, including senior citizens and first-time mobile phone users.
The phone features a 2.4-inch display intended for calling, messaging and general usage. It is powered by a 1200mAh battery for extended use.
The device includes a Type-C charging port. According to the company, the feature is available in the device despite its price segment, where many feature phones continue to use older charging ports.
itel Aqua has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1,799. The device is available in Blue, Red and Black colour options and can be purchased through retail stores across the country.
