Jannat Zubair Issues Strong Statement

Jannat Zubair, herself a popular actress and social media influencer, expressed her anger over the incident on her Instagram story, writing:

'A person's body is not anyone's property to be mocked or criticized. It's 2025, and we should have moved past issues like body shaming by now. Ashnoor Kaur is where she is today because of her talent, confidence, and hard work — not because she has a 'perfect body' according to someone else's standards.'

She further wrote, "Ashnoor, I am proud of you. You are beautiful just the way you are. Hold your head high, because your identity comes from your work and confidence, not from others' opinions."

Rohan Mehra Also Comes Out in Support

Ashnoor Kaur's close friend and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actor, Rohan Mehra, also condemned the incident on X (Twitter). He wrote, "Body shaming cannot be accepted under any circumstances. What happened today is shameful. Kunika, Neelam, and Tanya — all of you should apologize." Following Rohan's statement, fans also trended #StopBodyShaming and #RespectWomen on social media.

Viewers of 'Bigg Boss 19' and netizens have also demanded that the show's producers take strict action against such behavior. Belittling a talented actress like Ashnoor damages the show's image.” Another comment stated, "What Jannat Zubair said is the voice of every woman today. It's time we stop calling body shaming 'entertainment'."

Although Ashnoor has not directly commented on the incident, she shared a cryptic post on Instagram which read, "I will remain who I am. No one's opinion can define my identity." Her fans widely praised this message and advised her to stay b.
