JDU Stalwart Dr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra Defects to RJD Amidst Bihar Election Season

Political fervor has intensified in Bihar amidst the election season. Dr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, a former General Secretary of JDU, has made a significant move by leaving his long-standing political home, the Janata Dal United (JDU), and joining the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

Patna: Dr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, who is also the husband of the Mukhiya (village head) of Patilar Panchayat in Bagaha and served as the State General Secretary of JDU, has bid farewell to Nitish Kumar's JDU and embraced the RJD. He was formally inducted into the RJD by the party's State President, Mangani Lal Mandal. This information was confirmed by the RJD's District General Secretary, Kamlesh Dubey.

Kamlesh Dubey stated that Abhishek Kumar Mishra arrived at the party office in Patna along with the Mukhiyas, Sarpanches, and supporters from his own panchayat and other neighboring ones. There, the State President welcomed him with traditional attire and garlands.

Joins RJD from JDU

Dr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, accompanied by his supporters, arrived at the RJD headquarters in Patna. He received a grand welcome with traditional attire and garlands upon joining the party. Dr. Mishra was joined by the Mukhiya and Sarpanch of his panchayat, along with other local leaders. RJD District General Secretary Kamlesh Dubey remarked that Mishra's inclusion in the party will further strengthen the RJD's position in the Bagaha region. The move by his supporters and local panchayat leaders could significantly benefit the RJD in the upcoming elections.

Following Dr. Mishra's induction into the RJD, former Lok Sabha candidate from Valmikinagar, Deepak Yadav, Congress District Vice President Sandeep Kumar Sahni (Golu), Nitesh Rao (President, Mukhiya Sangh Bagaha Ek), Jagarnath Yadav (President, Sarpanch Sangh), Mukhiya Raushan Tiwari, Mukhiya Representative Rajesh Rao, Deepak Pandey, Amit Verma, Ranvijay Singh, Mo Azad, Durgesh Thakur, and Divakar Pathak congratulated Mishra.

Experts believe that Dr. Mishra's departure from JDU to join RJD could alter the political landscape for the Bagaha seat, potentially making it a closely contested constituency in the upcoming assembly elections.
