Kaveri Shares Her Views on Nepotism

In a conversation with IANS, Kaveri said, “Apart from my parents, most of my close people are not actors, so they don't have a specific opinion on this subject. Personally, I understand people's frustration. There is a big difference in opportunities between people from common and film families, and it is difficult to ignore this. But, I don't think it's right to spread hatred towards someone who is pursuing their passion.”

Kaveri further added that if you have passion and are ready to work hard, you should enter this field. To those who vent their frustration on star kids or others regarding nepotism, I would just like to say, put yourselves in their shoes. Your perspective might change. When you get an opportunity, you would definitely want to seize it.

Kaveri's Perspective on Opportunities for Star Kids

Kaveri clarified that while being a star kid might offer some initial opportunities, talent is the most crucial factor for long-term sustainability in this industry. She stated, “Getting an opportunity is one thing, but maintaining it and making a mark with your work is the biggest challenge. She also explained how her friends and family view this issue. “My friends have different opinions on this, but personally, I take it very seriously. The issue of nepotism is complex, but I always believe that you can survive in this industry only through passion and hard work.

Kaveri Kapoor made her acting debut this year with Kunal Kohli's film ‘Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story’. In this film, she was seen alongside Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri. After this, she will now be seen in her second film ‘Masoom 2’, in which she is working under Shekhar Kapur's direction.
