Tulsi Kadha: Most Effective for Children

Tulsi Kadha is considered the most effective in boosting children's immunity. Prepared by boiling holy basil leaves, this decoction protects the body from cold and viral infections. It also provides relief from sore throat and cough. For children, this kadha is mild in taste and easy to drink.

Combination with Sitopaladi Churna

According to Dr. Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, if Sitopaladi Churna is added to Tulsi Kadha, it becomes even more beneficial. Sitopaladi Churna contains ingredients like Mishri (rock sugar), Vanshalochan (bamboo manna), Peepal (long pepper), Elaichi (cardamom), and Dalchini (cinnamon). All these ingredients strengthen children's lungs and respiratory system. Mishri cools the throat and reduces irritation. Vanshalochan helps thin phlegm. Peepal aids in cleansing the lungs. Elaichi improves digestion, and Dalchini possesses antibacterial properties.

This combination boosts children's immunity. They remain protected from recurrent viral infections and respiratory illnesses. This kadha also provides relief from mild allergies, sinusitis, and early symptoms of asthma.

How to Consume the Kadha

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Prajapati suggests that Tulsi Kadha and Sitopaladi Churna can be given 1 to 2 times a day, mildly warm. For small children, it can be administered with the help of a spoon. Regular consumption strengthens children's bodies from within and boosts their immunity.

Beyond just immunity, this kadha also helps with other health issues in children. Tulsi Kadha provides relief from cough, sore throat, and common cold. Sitopaladi Churna cleanses the lungs and respiratory passages. It is beneficial for mild allergies and breathing difficulties.
