When her father, Rakesh Bagri, went to look for her, Saina was found unconscious near a drain. She was immediately taken to Kota Medical College, but doctors declared her dead. Upon hearing the news, her mother started crying profusely, clinging to her daughter's body, and was comforted by people nearby.
Saina Bagri's sudden death has left her family and the local community stunned. Police stated that the accident was caused by an electric shock while she was playing near her home. The incident has also raised safety concerns in the area, where children are vulnerable to accidents while playing outdoors.
The girl's father stated that he himself works as a guard in an electricity company and has been living in Kota for the past five years. He is originally from Dungarjya village in Kota. He explained that an iron angle was placed near an electric pole at the incident site. As soon as the child touched that angle, she received an electric shock, fell unconscious, and collapsed.
The father further added that he had previously complained multiple times to the concerned company and officials about electric current issues in this area. Initial minor repairs were carried out, but after that, no one paid attention. He claimed their negligence cost his young daughter her life.
