The last Supermoon of the year graces the sky tonight, appearing 10% larger and 30% brighter. Discover how and where to observe this stunning celestial event for a breathtaking view.

Prayagraj – Tonight, the last Supermoon of the year will be visible in the sky. During a full moon, the moon appears significantly larger and brighter than on normal days because it is much closer to Earth. According to astronomers, this moon will appear approximately 10 percent larger and about 30 percent brighter.

After sunset, the moon will rise from the eastern direction.

In the middle of the night, it will reach its highest position in the sky. Before dawn, it will set in the western direction.

If the sky is clear, it can be easily observed without any special equipment.

A Supermoon occurs when the moon, during a full moon night, is at the point in its orbit where it is closest to Earth. In this state, the moon appears larger and more luminous.

Look towards the east from an open space. The view will be more beautiful when observed from places with less light. The natural illusion of the moon appearing larger when viewed near the horizon becomes even more captivating.
