Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that Madhya Pradesh is a leader in the country in many sectors and that the state needs to be further advanced. He informed that his government is committed to providing employment to the youth of the state through agriculture, animal husbandry, food processing, and new industries and businesses.
Bhopal: While speaking to the media during the 'Emerging Business Conclave (Bhopal Chapter)' organized by a media group in Bhopal on Monday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the state's law and order and development plans, stating that a b law and order situation in Madhya Pradesh is our highest priority.
The Chief Minister said that there is no place for anti-social and goonda elements in the state, and such people who take the law into their own hands will be eliminated. He also clarified that the government is rapidly moving forward with public welfare decisions rather than populist promises.
Dr. Yadav Initiates New Programs for Farmers and Youth
Dr. Yadav informed the media that his government is making special efforts for the development of farmers, animal husbandry, and food processing in the state. He stated that work is being done to bring self-reliance into the lives of farmers by promoting agriculture, horticulture, milk production, modern farming, and by providing them with respect and financial assistance.
He said that new industries and businesses are continuously being established in the state to provide employment to the youth. In this regard, the foundation stone for the country's first PM MITRA Park will be laid in Dhar district. Additionally, meetings and one-on-one discussions with investors will be organized in New Delhi to attract more investment into the state.
Tourism and Pilgrimage Sites to be Developed
The Chief Minister informed that special attention is being given to religious and spiritual tourism, as well as medical, forest, and wildlife tourism in Madhya Pradesh. Permanent construction and better management are being undertaken at 13 major pilgrimage sites in the state. He said that after the construction of Shri Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, there has been a tremendous increase in tourism. More than 7 crore devotees visited Ujjain in the year 2024. Inspired by this success, the government is soon going to start helicopter services for tourists at all tourist destinations in the state.
The Chief Minister stated that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India and its central location should be fully leveraged. The state has land banks, adequate electricity supply, and robust infrastructure. He informed that many irrelevant laws have been changed to attract new industries, the process for government permissions has been simplified, and 18 new industrial policies have been implemented. These initiatives will help investors easily establish industries in the state and contribute to job creation.
