UP: In Mathura village, Muzaffarnagar, 37-year-old Ritu Kashyap eloped with her Muslim neighbor, Jabir, on September 6. The woman left her four children with her husband, Rajkumar. Jabir has been married twice before. The police immediately registered a case and began searching for the woman and her partner, but after 21 days, no trace has been found. Following the incident, a social panchayat (village council) was held in the village, and the police were given time to recover the woman.

Details of the Incident

On September 6, Rajkumar, a resident of Mathura village in the Charthawal police station area, filed a complaint with the police stating that his wife, Ritu Kashyap, had eloped from home after being lured by their neighbor, Jabir. He stated that his wife and Jabir had a love affair, and due to this, she left her children and went away.

Family of the Eloped Woman

Ritu Kashyap has four children. After her elopement, her husband, Rajkumar, is fully responsible for the children's care. Along with the children, the entire family is in a state of concern. Relatives and local police are engaged in finding the woman, but so far, no success has been achieved.

According to information, Jabir has been married twice before and has no children. This fact raises surprise and questions among people as to why the woman was attracted to a person who has already been married twice. The elopement of Jabir and Ritu has left the local residents surprised and engaged in discussions.

Panchayat Organized

Following the incident of the woman's elopement, Swami Yashveer Ji Maharaj organized a panchayat in Mathura village to assess the situation. In the panchayat, the police were given one week to recover the woman. Additionally, it was announced that Muslim families living within a 15 to 20-kilometer radius of the village would be boycotted, and no relations would be maintained with them.

Police Action

CO Sadar Ravishankar Mishra stated that an immediate case was registered at Charthawal police station based on the complaint filed by the woman's husband. Police have formed several teams to recover the woman. He added that the woman left her children behind, and the police are making every possible effort to find her.

Atmosphere in the Village

After the woman's elopement, Mathura village remains agitated. Local residents are discussing the matter. Many consider this incident serious and are actively involved in the search for the eloped woman and her partner. Efforts are ongoing, with the cooperation of the panchayat and the police, to recover the woman as soon as possible.

Ritu Kashyap's four children are with their father, Rajkumar. The entire responsibility for the children's care now rests with their father. Other family members are also supporting the children and arranging for their safety and upbringing.

Reasons for Elopement

According to information, Ritu Kashyap and Jabir had a long-standing love affair. This was the reason the woman decided to leave her family and elope. Meanwhile, leaving her children behind and entrusting their care to her husband also became a significant reason for the incident.

Law and Action

Police have registered a case under relevant sections in this matter and have begun their search. Police officials are continuously monitoring the case and investigating various locations to find the eloped couple. The objective of the panchayat's decision and the police action is to find the woman and her partner and bring them home safely.
