The nomination process is scheduled to begin on August 7, and the NDA has a clear majority in the electoral college. In such a situation, the selection of the candidate has remained only a formality. According to sources, the NDA may announce its candidate soon. JP Nadda said, "The NDA is completely united, and we are confident that we will win the Vice-Presidential election with a huge margin."
