PM Modi said that August 5th is not just a date, but a historical day for India. It was on this day that the Ram Janmabhoomi's Bhoomi Pujan took place in Ayodhya. This day was also described as significant from the perspective of the constitution and nationalism.

The meeting also discussed the possibilities of granting statehood to Jammu & Kashmir. Recently, PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah met with President Droupadi Murmu, leading to increased speculation that a major announcement regarding Jammu & Kashmir may be made soon.
Tiranga Campaign and Preparations for National Days
The Prime Minister appealed to the MPs to make the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign successful in their respective regions. Along with this, he also instructed that National Space Day, to be celebrated on August 23rd, and National Sports Day, on August 29th, should be celebrated on a large scale.

In this NDA meeting, tributes were paid to those killed in the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. In addition, a resolution was also passed regarding the courageous actions of the Indian Army and the delegation sent to expose Pakistan.

This meeting took place before the Vice-Presidential election, the nomination process for which will begin on August 7th.
