NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 Registration Opens on MCC.nic.in; Choice Filling Closes September 9

MCC has commenced the registration and choice filling process for NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2. Candidates can fill their preferences on mcc.nic.in until September 9. The seat allotment result will be announced on September 12.

NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 has begun. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the registration and choice filling process for MBBS and BDS seats on the official website. Eligible candidates can register and fill their choices through the MCC website, mcc.nic.in, until September 9, 2025.

Last Date for Choice Filling

As per the schedule, Round 2 registration commenced on September 4, 2025, and will continue until September 9, 2025. Candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses by September 9. The option to lock choices will be available from 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM on September 9.

Seat Allotment Schedule

The seat allotment process for Round 2 will take place on September 10 and 11, 2025. Following this, the Round 2 result will be declared on September 12, 2025. Candidates who are allocated a seat will need to report and join the respective college between September 13 and September 19, 2025. The verification of data of admitted candidates by college institutions will be conducted on September 20 and 21, 2025.

How to Perform Choice Filling

  • Candidates must log in to the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on the NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 choice filling link on the homepage.
  • A new page will open where login details need to be entered.
  • After submitting, the choice filling link will be activated.
  • Select your preferred colleges and courses and click on submit.
  • Finally, download the page and keep a printout for your records.

Number of Available Seats

As per the updated seat matrix, 1,134 new seats have been made available for candidates in this phase. The counselling process consists of three rounds, followed by a vacancy round.
