Netanyahu states Iran lacks uranium enrichment and ballistic missile capability, reiterates Israel-US cooperation

Israeli Prime Minister develop ballistic missiles and warned against attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz. He outlined Israel’s coordination with the United States to counter Iranian threats and prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran no longer has the capability to conduct uranium enrichment or develop ballistic missiles. He said Iran is attempting to blackmail the international community but will not succeed.

Netanyahu said Israel is working in cooperation with the United States to counter threats from Iran and ensure regional security. He reiterated that Israel will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances. He also stated that, at the request of US President Donald Trump, Israel would assist in preventing further attacks on Iran’s natural gas fields.

The Prime Minister outlined three objectives: eliminating Iran’s nuclear threat, preventing the development of Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities, and creating conditions that would enable the Iranian people to achieve freedom and determine their own future.

He said Israel has for decades warned that Iran’s ballistic missile programme extends beyond regional scope and has the capacity to strike distant targets. He stated that failure to stop the programme would mark only the beginning of further developments.

Netanyahu said Iran is attempting to blackmail the world by threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz, an important international maritime route. He stated that such efforts would not succeed. He added that Israel is supporting the United States through its methods and intelligence to ensure that the Strait remains open. He further stated that if Iran possessed nuclear-armed ballistic missiles, it would be capable of blackmailing the entire world.

During the remarks, Netanyahu said, “I am alive and you are all witnesses to it.” He stated that under the leadership of President Trump, the United States and Israel are working together to eliminate what he described as an existential threat posed by Iran.

He referred to “Operation Rising Lion,” which he said was prepared to counter threats arising from Iran’s Ayatollah-led regime. Netanyahu stated that the regime has, for the past 47 years, waged actions against the United States, Israel, and the Iranian people, and has used slogans calling for the destruction of both the United States and Israel while sending its own people to their deaths.

Netanyahu stated that Israel is prevailing in the conflict and that Iran is facing a severe crisis. He said significant damage has been inflicted on Iran’s stockpiles of missiles and drones, which are being destroyed.

He stated that Israel has completely destroyed multiple Iranian nuclear facilities and missile systems. He added that Iran’s air defence systems have been rendered ineffective and its navy has been constrained at sea. He said that further actions remain and Israel will complete them.

Netanyahu stated that the United States and Israel are jointly monitoring Iran’s activities. He said both countries are acting with determination and strength to counter Iranian threats. He reiterated that Iran’s ballistic missile programme and efforts to acquire nuclear weapons will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances, stating that the strategy is focused on security and regional stability.
