The shares, priced at ₹135, listed at a significant discount today, opening at ₹82.50 on BSE and ₹81.50 on NSE. After listing, the shares surged to ₹86.60, hitting the upper circuit, but IPO investors are still facing a loss of about 36%.

Om Freight Forwarders IPO Listing: The IPO of logistics company Om Freight Forwarders was open from September 29 to October 3 and received a mixed response from investors. The IPO was subscribed 3.88 times, with new shares issued at a face value of ₹135 and 72.50 lakh shares sold under the offer for sale. Today, the shares listed at a significant discount, opening at ₹82.50 on BSE and ₹81.50 on NSE, but later reached ₹86.60, hitting the upper circuit after listing. Out of the funds raised from the IPO, ₹17.15 crore will be used for the purchase of commercial vehicles, and the remainder for general corporate purposes.

Initial Listing and Share Price

Shares of Om Freight Forwarders were issued at a price of ₹135 in the IPO. However, today its shares listed at ₹82.50 on BSE and ₹81.50 on NSE. This means that the capital of IPO investors has decreased by approximately 39 percent. Although the share price saw a surge after listing, reaching ₹86.60 on BSE, which was the upper circuit, IPO investors are still facing a loss of approximately 35.85 percent.

Utilization of Funds Raised from IPO

Om Freight Forwarders' IPO was worth ₹122.31 crore and was open for subscription from September 29 to October 3. The reserved portion for employees was subscribed slightly over half, while all other categories were fully subscribed. Overall, the issue was subscribed 3.88 times.

The Qualified Institutional Buyers' (QIB) portion was subscribed 3.97 times, Non-Institutional Investors' (NII) portion 7.39 times, Retail Individual Investors' (RII) portion 2.77 times, and the Employees' portion 0.57 times. A total of new shares worth ₹24.44 crore were issued under the IPO.

Additionally, 72.50 lakh shares with a face value of ₹10 were sold under the Offer for Sale (OFS). The proceeds from the Offer for Sale went to the selling shareholders. Out of the funds raised through the fresh issue, ₹17.15 crore will be utilized by the company to purchase commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. The remaining amount will be spent on general corporate purposes.

Company's Business and Expansion

Om Freight Forwarders was established in June 1995. It is a third-generation logistics company with operations spread across several countries worldwide. The company owns 135 commercial vehicles and also possesses heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, trailers, pay loaders, tippers, and vessels. Additionally, the company has 22 logistics partners who assist in its operations.

Financial Performance

The company's financial health has shown fluctuations. In fiscal year 2023, Om Freight Forwarders reported a net profit of ₹27.16 crore. In the subsequent fiscal year 2024, this decreased to ₹10.35 crore. However, in fiscal year 2025, the profit rapidly increased to ₹21.99 crore.

The company's total income also experienced fluctuations. In fiscal year 2023, the income was ₹493.35 crore, which decreased to ₹421.32 crore in fiscal year 2024, and then increased to ₹494.05 crore in fiscal year 2025.

Debt and Reserve Position

Om Freight Forwarders' debt also saw changes. At the end of fiscal year 2023, the debt was ₹7.53 crore, which increased to ₹24.47 crore in fiscal year 2024 and further to ₹26.95 crore in fiscal year 2025. During this period, the company's reserves and surplus increased. At the end of fiscal year 2023, it was ₹139.24 crore, reaching ₹151.58 crore in fiscal year 2024, and ₹173.47 crore in fiscal year 2025.
