Prime Minister to Inaugurate New Vande Bharat Express and Amrit Bharat Express from Purnea

Muzaffarpur will get another Vande Bharat Express train. This train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 15 during a program in Purnea.

Patna: Muzaffarpur has received another significant gift. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the new Vande Bharat Express on September 15 during a special program organized in Purnea. This train will run from Forbesganj to Danapur and will pass through several important stations en route. Additionally, the Amrit Bharat Express will also be launched on the same day, strengthening connectivity between several major cities in Eastern India.

This new train service will not only reduce travel time but also boost economic and tourism activities in the region. Furthermore, instructions have been issued to tighten security arrangements at the railway station, as two LED TVs were recently damaged due to an overloaded goods trolley.

Vande Bharat Express Route and Schedule

The new Vande Bharat Express will operate as train number 02631 Forbesganj–Danapur Inaugural Special. Its route will be as follows:

Forbesganj → Araria Court → Purnea Junction → Banmankhi → Dauram Madhepura → Saharsa → Khagaria → Salona → Hasanpur Road → Samastipur → Muzaffarpur → Hajipur → Danapur.

  • The train will depart from Forbesganj at 3:30 PM.
  • It will reach Muzaffarpur at 9:05 PM.

With the commencement of this train, the number of Vande Bharat Express trains passing through Muzaffarpur will increase to two. Jogbani → Purnea → Katihar → Mansi → Barauni → Hajipur → Patliputra → DDU → Prayagraj Chheoki → Jabalpur → Itarsi → Nagpur → Vijayawada → Perambur → Katpadi → Erode.
