PM Modi: Recently, in Bihar, abusive language was used for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother, Heeraben, from an opposition party platform. PM Modi gave his first reaction to this matter, stating that it was not just a personal insult but an insult to the mothers and sisters of the country. He said that this incident had caused him personal grief and pain, and he wished to share his thoughts on it with the people of Bihar.
PM Modi Shared Personal Pain
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "A mother is our world, and a mother is our pride. I had never imagined what happened in Bihar a few days ago. The respect for my parents has always been paramount for me." He emotionally shared that his mother is no longer in this world, having passed away after completing 100 years of age.
Mention of Abuses from RJD-Congress Platform
PM Modi clarified that his mother was abused from the RJD-Congress platform in Bihar. He stated, "These abuses are not just an insult to my mother, but an insult to all mothers, sisters, and daughters of the country." PM Modi mentioned that his mother was completely removed from politics, and although her physical presence is no longer in this world, indecent remarks were made against her.
Shared the Pain of the People of Bihar
The Prime Minister said that he knows the people of Bihar must have also felt immense sorrow and pain seeing this. He shared that he was sharing his personal grief in front of millions of mothers and sisters so that he could bear this situation with their blessings. PM Modi expressed his feelings towards the people of Bihar, stating that the people of Bihar also felt a part of his pain.
Mother's Contribution in Service of Mother India
PM Modi also explained that his mother had always played a significant role in his life. He said, "I have worked hard for my country every day, and my mother's contribution to this has been immense. My mother freed me from her responsibilities because I had to serve Mother India."
The Prime Minister further added that people born into royal families cannot understand the penance of a poor mother and the pain of her son. He stated that many prominent families seek power for their lineage's legacy and believe that the kursi (seat of power) should only belong to them. However, the people of the country have blessed the son of a poor mother by making him the Pradhan Sevak (chief servant).
