In the Suryagarha Assembly constituency, supporters led by former candidate Ravishankar Prasad Singh, also known as Ashok Singh, welcomed RCP Singh. Recently, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, had stated that he did not know RCP Singh. When journalists sought his response to the statement, RCP Singh said with a smile that Lalan Babu was and would remain his old friend. He said there was no question of recognition, as he and Lalan Singh shared a long-standing relationship. He added that in politics, ideas and work are larger than individuals, and that the people of Bihar know him well.
RCP Singh clarified that his focus was not on personal disputes or statements but on public service and the development of Bihar. He said the real purpose of politics should be the welfare of all and fraternity.
On discussions regarding his possible return to the Janata Dal United, RCP Singh said that politics exists in every sphere of life, whether at home, in society, or even before God. He said politics is a field of possibilities, but his foremost duty is service to the people. He added that in whatever role he may serve, his priority would be the development of Bihar and reaching the last person, and that further decisions would be determined by time and circumstances.
