Prashant Kishor Promises Jobs and Pensions in Bihar, Criticizes Modi, Nitish, and Lalu

The people of Bihar voted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi with great faith, hoping that the stream of development would reach their villages and homes, and that young people would find employment in their own state. But today, the situation is such that their children are forced to work as laborers in states like Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Darbhanga: Prashant Kishor, the convenor of the Jan Suraaj campaign and a poll strategist turned public leader, has once again stirred up the politics of Bihar. Addressing a public gathering in Darbhanga, he sharply criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, and the central government. Furthermore, he heated up the electoral atmosphere by promising employment, pensions, and free education for the youth and elderly of Bihar ahead of the 2025 assembly elections.

Employment for Bihar's Youth, Pensions for the Elderly

Prashant Kishor said that if Jan Suraaj receives public support, then from December 2025, all people over the age of 60 will be given a monthly pension of ₹2000. Also, children under the age of 15 will be provided free education in private schools. He also promised that 50 lakh youths of Bihar would get jobs in the state itself, with salaries of ₹10,000-₹12,000, so that they would not have to go to Gujarat, Maharashtra, or Delhi for employment. After Chhath Puja, the youth of Darbhanga will not have to go outside for work. Vote for the future of your children, not by looking at the faces of leaders. – Prashant Kishor

Sharp Attack on Lalu Yadav: 'Wants to Make a 9th Grade Fail CM'

Taking a dig at RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Kishor said that he wants to make his ninth-grade-failed son the Chief Minister, while thousands of young people in Bihar have completed matriculation, graduation, and post-graduation and are unemployed. The people of Bihar have to vote thinking that their children are educated, but they are not getting any opportunities.

Targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kishor said that the Nitish government is scared of the growing popularity of the Jan Suraaj campaign, which is why it is increasing pension and honorarium schemes, and implementing domicile policies, in order to save political support. He said: Nitish Kumar is afraid of defeat. That's why he is showering schemes, but the public is now wise.

Got Votes for Modi, But Youth are Doing Labor

Prashant Kishor also took Prime Minister Narendra Modi to task. He said that the people of Bihar voted for Modi, but their children are still working as laborers in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Ask the leaders why our children are forced to migrate despite us voting for them. Commenting on Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Bihar, Kishor said that BJP leaders only come to Bihar at the time of elections.

He quipped: No statement comes on the water problem in Sitamarhi, but as the elections approach, these leaders start showing their love for Bihar. The 'Bihar Transformation' meeting, held at Baruar Durga Mandir Maidan in Bahadurpur, Darbhanga, was presided over by Jan Suraaj District President Mohd. Aamir Haider. Leaders like Bittu Sahni, Shivamani, Vinay Kumar Singh, and Ganga Prasad also participated in the meeting and expressed their views.
