Prateek Yadav’s family has departed for Haridwar carrying his ashes for the final religious rites. Family members left the residence in the morning amid an emotional atmosphere.
According to sources, Prateek Yadav’s brother-in-law, father-in-law and elder daughter were also part of the group travelling to Haridwar for the rituals.
The family is reported to be travelling to Haridwar on a chartered plane arranged by Akhilesh Yadav. Special preparations had been made in advance for the journey.
The immersion of ashes and other religious rituals will be conducted on the banks of the Ganga in Haridwar. Close associates of the family may also remain present during the ceremonies.
Several family members appeared emotional while leaving the residence. Supporters and acquaintances present nearby also paid tributes.
Since the death of Prateek Yadav, condolences have continued to be expressed across political and social circles. Several leaders and supporters have conveyed sympathies to the family.
