Prayagraj - The widening and strengthening of the Nevadhiya Road, located in the Bara Assembly constituency of the district, has been approved. The project will cost ₹56.85 crore. Widening the road will ease transportation in the rural areas of the region and provide relief to people from traffic congestion and poor road conditions.
Under the proposed plan, the Nevadhiya Road will be developed according to technical standards. The road widening will not only benefit local residents but also improve the transportation of agricultural produce, trade, and emergency services. The road had been a source of trouble for people due to its long-standing poor condition.
It is reported that upon completion of this project, connectivity to surrounding villages will be strengthened and the socio-economic development of the region will gain momentum. Local people have described the approval of the road widening as an important step in the public interest.
According to administrative officials, the formal procedures related to the project will soon be completed and construction work will be started so that the road construction can be completed within the stipulated time.
